Choose Metal for the steel finish and QR backup
The Metal NFC business card is laser engraved on stainless steel. Its NFC tap and engraved QR code open the same digital profile. That gives you a camera-scannable option if tapping is unavailable or awkward on someone's phone.
Metal also includes a separate Google Review Card. The business card shares your contact profile; the Review Card opens your business's Google review page. Keep those two purposes clear when showing a customer which card to tap.
Choose PVC for a lightweight, lower-priced card
PVC costs $75 USD before tax, compared with $100 USD for Metal. It includes custom engraving, NFC, a digital profile and free updates. It is the practical choice when you prefer a lighter card and do not need Metal's QR backup or included Review Card.
If you add the $25 USD Review Card to PVC, the product subtotal is $100 USD before shipping and tax. That is the same product subtotal as Metal with its included Review Card, but the materials and QR offer remain different. Choose the format you actually want to carry.
Both keep changing contact details online
Metal and PVC open your profile in the recipient's browser without a Pick Card app. Put your phone, email, website and relevant links there, then update those digital details when needed. There is no profile subscription.
An update does not change the physical engraving. A new company name, logo or engraved person's name may mean ordering a replacement physical card. If a team card will be reassigned, decide whether permanent individual names belong on it before approving the proof.

For Metal, prepare your design in the online designer. For PVC, order and complete the card setup with your logo and details. Budget for shipping and plan around approval
Standard shipping is $20 USD per order, with applicable taxes added at checkout. Prices follow the shipping market: CAD for Canada, GBP for the UK and USD elsewhere. The amounts on this guide are localized to your selected browsing region.
Dispatch is within 3–5 business days after proof approval, separate from carrier transit. A delayed approval or revision can move the dispatch date. Check the shipping policy before planning an event or promising cards to your team.

Is PVC printed instead of engraved?
Pick Card's PVC offer is custom engraved. Both Metal and PVC designs have a final proof before production.
Does choosing PVC reduce the digital profile features?
Both include a digital profile, free profile updates and no subscription. The main differences described here are material, the engraved QR backup on Metal, and Metal's included separate Review Card.
