Look at the front, back and NFC location
The word metal does not describe every layer of a card. Ask the supplier what the body and each face are made from, and whether the NFC tag is surface-mounted, recessed or inside a layered card. Check the back view as well as the front.
Pick Card's Metal body is stainless steel with metal finishes on both sides. The round NFC chip is attached to the back rather than replacing that face with a full plastic backing. The QR code is engraved into the metal and opens the same digital profile. Our product page shows front and back renders, and the gallery shows finished client work.
How the NFC tap works on our metal card
Bring the attached chip area near the NFC reading area of a compatible phone. Open the notification to load your digital profile in the browser. The person viewing it does not need a Pick Card app or account. Internet access is needed to load the profile.
Metal can interfere with an NFC antenna. NXP's antenna guidance describes how ferrite shielding helps an antenna operate near metal. Do not assume that an embedded chip or a metal label alone tells you how a card will read: ask where to tap and see a demonstration. On Pick Card's Metal card, the visible chip area on the back is the tap point.
Price and inclusions

Standard shipping is $20 USD per order, with applicable taxes added at checkout. Displayed amounts follow your browsing region; final prices and currency follow your shipping destination: CAD for Canada, GBP for the UK and USD elsewhere. Choose the card for the way you network
